• A slide sheet designed to assist caregivers in repositioning elderly users and patients, e.g., on a bed or in a car.
• Made from cylindrical nylon fabric—slippery, lightweight, tough, and not easily torn.
• Uses a sliding transfer method instead of lifting the patient directly, allowing a caregiver to reposition an elderly user or patient with reduced risk of injury or bruising.

How to Use

• Single caregiver: Pull the sheet on the bed to help the patient scoot or reposition while seated. Hold the top edge of the sheet and pull with both hands at the same time. The friction/slide action of the sheet helps move the patient by sliding, instead of directly lifting/turning the patient.
• Two caregivers: Each caregiver holds a corner of the top edge of the sheet and pulls simultaneously to reposition the patient.

Recommendations

• Use with at least 1 caregiver.
• Suitable for patients who cannot walk but can sit and maintain balance independently. Do not use for lifting or carrying the patient.
