Recommendations
- Before using the electric wheelchair for the first time, please read the user manual carefully and follow the instructions provided to avoid product damage and injury caused by improper use.
- When the battery level reaches 10%, do not continue driving. Recharge immediately to prevent the wheelchair from stopping during use.
- If the wheelchair is not used for a long period, the battery will discharge and its performance may decrease. Therefore, the battery should be charged at least every 3 months. Before using it again, always fully charge the battery. Normally, the battery will be fully charged after approximately 8 hours. Irregular charging may affect battery lifespan. Even if the battery is fully charged before storage, long-term storage without use may still reduce battery performance.
- If the wheelchair will not be used for a long period, disconnect and remove the battery. Lack of power may create unacceptable risks. The wheelchair must always be connected to a suitable power source when required.
Maintenance
- For cleaning, prepare a damp cloth or anti-static cloth. Apply a small amount of medical alcohol to the cloth and wipe the surface of the charger and power cord. Place the parts in a well-ventilated area to dry. Once dry, they can be used normally.
Warnings
- The electric wheelchair and adapter together form an ME system. Do not use the electric wheelchair before assembly and inspection are fully completed.
- Do not get on or off the electric wheelchair while the control switch is turned on, or when the wheelchair is in manual mode without a device to secure it in place.
- If the wheelchair controller malfunctions or the brakes fail, release the control lever immediately and press the power switch to shut off the power supply.
- To prevent the wheelchair from losing control or moving by itself, do not place the wheelchair in manual mode on a slope.
- Avoid using accessories that may interfere with the control lever, as this may cause the electric wheelchair to move unexpectedly.
- Do not disassemble or modify the electric wheelchair.
- Avoid leaving the wheelchair in extremely hot or cold conditions for long periods, as this may damage the seat, backrest, non-upholstered parts, and battery.
- When moving an unused wheelchair up or down stairs, extra care must be taken. The wheelchair must be folded. Do not move it across stairs or escalators.
- Do not stand on the footrest, as this may cause the electric wheelchair to tip over. Do not lean on the armrests, as this may also cause the wheelchair to overturn.
- When the electric wheelchair is moving, reduce the speed to below 2 km/h before turning.
- When driving downhill, drive slowly using the lowest speed setting. When driving uphill, proceed carefully, lean slightly forward, and move at a low speed.
- While the wheelchair is moving, keep clothing and other items away from the wheels. Do not drag any objects behind the wheelchair while driving.
- Do not drive the wheelchair along the edges of streams, lakes, or the sea. Do not drive the wheelchair across rivers. Do not expose the wheelchair to open flames.
- Do not modify the seat specifications. Do not place additional cushions or pillows on the seat, as this may make the seat unstable.
- People with mental disorders, slow reactions, or difficulty operating the wheelchair should not use the electric wheelchair.
